Cyclone Feed Sand Washing Pump
Cyclone feed pump is a wear-resistant centrifugal slurry pump used to transport slurry to hydrocyclones at a stable flow rate and pressure. It is commonly used in classification or sorting circuits in mines and beneficiation plants to achieve separation of coarse and fine particles.
The main types are single-stage, single suction, horizontal split or vertical slurry pumps, which are mostly made of high chromium wear-resistant metal or rubber lining to cope with high wear and high-density slurry (such as the feeding of cyclones in the grinding circuit).
Key performance parameters: Flow rate usually 100-5000 m ³/h, head 10-150 m, need to withstand abrasive sludge with solid content>5% and particle size up to several centimeters; Frequently equipped with variable frequency drive (VFD) to stabilize the inlet pressure/flow rate of the cyclone and improve the classification efficiency.
Application scenarios: Grinding closed-loop circulation (such as SAG/ball mill → cyclone → sand return), tailings conveying, coal washing, metal beneficiation (gold, copper, iron ore, etc.); Not used for clean water or low wear media.
