Coal Washing Slurry Pump
Characteristics
Essence: A variant of heavy-duty centrifugal pump that utilizes centrifugal force generated by impeller rotation to transport solid-liquid mixed media (coal slurry, coal water slurry, heavy medium suspension, etc.).
Key features: The overcurrent components (impeller, guard plate, pump casing) are made of high chromium alloy, wear-resistant rubber or ceramic materials, and the flow channel is wide to prevent blockage, designed specifically to cope with coal particle wear and high concentration working conditions.
Difference: Unlike ordinary water pumps, it does not pursue high hydraulic efficiency, but focuses on resistance to abrasion, impact, and the ability to pass large particles, with a significantly longer lifespan under harsh working conditions.
Main application scenarios in coal washing process
Raw coal pretreatment: Transport coal slurry water after washing and removing impurities, containing fine coal particles, sediment, and small stones, which need to be anti blocking and wear-resistant.
Heavy medium sorting: Circulating transportation of heavy medium suspensions such as magnetite powder requires stable flow rate to maintain sorting density accuracy.
Tailings and coal slurry transportation: Transporting flotation tailings and concentrate tank bottom flow to tailings pond or filter press often requires a high head to overcome distance and sedimentation risks.
Clean coal dewatering process: Feed the filter press or centrifuge with stable operation to avoid flow pulsation affecting the dewatering effect.
